We're looking for a Civil Site/Land Development EIT to join our team in Bonita Springs, FL, who is excited about working on projects that contribute growth to our clients’ business. As a member of our Bonita Springs, FL team, you'll be a part of diverse multi-discipline team allowing you to both share what you know and learn so you can grow. You will be mentored by senior team members while tackling multiple assignments simultaneously, such as construction plan review, field inspections, research and data collection, customer service inquiries and regulatory code changes in support of the client and Community Development project.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
Engineer in Training (EIT) certification, or the ability to take the Fundamentals of Engineering exam within six months of hire
Knowledge of engineering design standards, principles of building design, facility systems, utilities, critical development infrastructure
Ability to work with a multi-discipline project team
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to present independent work to a review team
Positive work ethic and adaptability to a variety of projects
Ability to read and understand facility and system drawings, diagrams and schematics
Ability to communicate and interact with customers effectively in resolving problems
Ability to adapt to changing work requirements and priorities
Ability to interact with people who have different values, cultures, or backgrounds
Proficient with Computer Aided Design Programs and Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, Power Point, Teams and Project)
Ideally, here’s what you’ll also have:
Familiarity with local, regional, and State of Florida design standards and code requirements
Strong background in Land Development and Drainage Design
Two to three years of relevant project design
Knowledge of and experience using CADD/Design software (Microstation/Inroads and AutoCAD/Civil 3D), and ArcGIS
