This structural (bridge) engineer will serve in a supporting role on bridge design projects and perform structural planning, analysis and design for all structural aspects of transportation (highway, and transit) projects. This engineer may serve in the role of project engineer for transportation projects and assist senior staff at meetings, during presentations, design reviews relative to assigned projects. Other duties may include business development, estimating project costs, performing bridge inspections and ratings.
The successful candidate will possess knowledge of and exposure to:
Planning, analysis, design, plan preparation, specification development, bridge inspections, and report writing.
Transportation engineering projects for MassDOT and the MBTA.
Technical societies and be available to attend meetings or events outside normal working hours.
Experience in a teamwork environment on multidisciplinary projects.

Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering is required.
Minimum 3 years of demonstrated experience on various types of bridges and other transportation structures, including analysis, design and plan development of new and rehabilitation projects.
Ability to obtain Professional Registration within one year or less is preferred
Demonstrated knowledge of CSiBridge, STAAD, Midas, or other structural design/analysis programs desirable.
Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
