Our Boston, MA office has a need for an Intern to join their rail/track group.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Performs routine aspects of engineering requiring knowledge and application of basic engineering principles under close supervision
Work is reviewed for adequacy and accuracy
Display strong communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to work in a fastpaced team environment with multiple deadlines.
Work in collaborative multi-disciplinary teams to meet all assigned project deadlines
Provide assistance with technical work on projects
Produce CAD drafting(s)
Computing quantities, working on engineering drawings, checking spreadsheets, and developing documents for engineering presentations
May involve some field inspection work and taking field notes, measurements, and photos
Works with Jacobs Boston Rail Team to complete designs and submissions.
Candidates must be enrolled full-time within a civil engineering program
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Experience with AutoCAD is preferred
Experience with Excel, Powerpoint, and Word is required
