We are seeking an Site Signal EIT to assist with the following:
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Work in collaborative multi-disciplinary teams to meet all assigned project deadlines
Provide assistance with technical work on projects
Produce CAD drafting(s)
Perform calculations and engineering for both electrical power and special electrical systems
Assist with the preparation of technical specifications and cost estimates
Possess an outgoing and positive attitude, are dependable and meet all assigned project deadlines.
Display strong communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines.
Assist with the design and implementation of vital and non-vital signal systems in rail and transit
Coordinate with appropriate staff on project priorities, staffing forecast and assignments to ensure milestones are accomplished with the quality contract packages.
Coordinate with appropriate staff to verify that signal system installation conforms to drawings and latest standards
Coordinate with appropriate staff to Check signal designs
Support implementation and testing of signal designs
Works collaboratively with signal manager and other signals and disciplines of the company
Report to and support Boston Signals Lead on various Signal Projects
Bachelor of Science in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Electrical/Electronic is required
Prior experience in related signal design or signal construction supervision is preferred
At least a 3.0 GPA is required
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Computer skills including AutoCAD, MicroStation, Microsoft Office.
