About the opportunity:
As we seek to support the ES&T EMEA APAC Business and Clients, we are looking to strengthen the Quality and Performance Management Function by recruiting additional resources to support clients, projects, and the business overall. You will support one or more of the exciting business sectors that ES&T EMEA APAC serves – Nuclear Power, Decommissioning, Defence and Security, Technology and Cyber Solutions.
You will have a passion for quality, see this as fundamental to project delivery culture, with a drive for improvement and a project mindset combined
Your role will cover Quality Assurance and Quality Control, working with specialist teams, ultimately part of teams ensuing projects are delivered to Quality, Time, and cost, and driving delivery of lifetime quality records that provide the evidence to underpin the engineering basis of plant and equipment
As we seek to support the Business and Clients, we are looking to strengthen the Quality and Performance Management Function by recruiting additional strong Quality Management Lead and Quality Delivery Manager level resources to support clients, projects, and the business overall

We have various opportunities mainly based at various locations around the UK, including HPC site, Bristol, London with opportunities now and growing internationally. Hybrid working blending working at home, design centres, construction sites and manufacturing premises can be discussed
Your role might typically encompass one or more of the following:
You will act as the lead Quality contact on either the project/framework or operation unit and have other quality staff to lead and support
These are key roles to drive quality requirements into projects, helping the supply chain do the right thing, understanding the meaning of graded approach to quality, to prepare for quality delivery and then oversee surveillance activities
You will be able to lead on the quality improvements areas and processes and make a significant contribution to the project/framework/operational unit or function success
With quality being part of the technical skills matrix, You will typically be reporting directly to a Programme or Project Manager, by Area or Contract and align functionally to Quality departments in the client and in Jacobs

Be a Chartered Quality Professional (MCQI) or be close to achieving this
Be experienced in Quality Management roles in construction, manufacturing, commissioning and or design working in a multi-discipline environment
Ideally a Civil or Mechanical or Electrical, Control and Instrumentation Engineer
Be an experienced and qualified Lead Auditor
Supplier development experience
Experience leaning out management systems
Experience interfacing with Conformity Assessment Bodies
Be willing to work on locations throughout the UK and internationally if required
Have extensive experience of working with various stakeholders (Internally and externally) from shop floor site to senior management
Be a good listener, communicator, adaptable, cultivates innovation and be always looking for continual improvement opportunities
Must demonstrate a strong safety culture
