About the Opportunity

Accountabilities

  • Oversight and coordination of the timely collection from origin, loading, inbound delivery and offloading of categorised project plant equipment to the agreed project location.

  • Proactive troubleshooting transport issues with project team, service suppliers and equipment manufacturers and representing the function at internal and external meetings. .

  • Ensuring shipping and transportation by supplier (DDP contracts) is well planned and managed.

  • Monitoring cost effectiveness and performance of any project service suppliers relating to logistics scope, freight bookings, plant hire, movement & temporary storage etc.

  • Supporting programme teams by advising best practice and methods applicable to future transport arrangements for their contracts.

  • Determining the most appropriate shipping method, depending on the nature of cargo, and required delivery time, and instructing suppliers accordingly.

  • Development and implementation of any required logistics strategies, plan, or process where perceived gaps in arrangements exist.

  • Attendance and reporting shipment status at Logistics Review meetings with other key stakeholders.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & Experience:

  • Demonstrable knowledge and background in international freight and transport.

  • Knowledge of the freight types, customs, loading/lifting essential

  • Requirement - Extensive shipping industry experience at major multinationals.

  • Previous experience in mega scale international Energy projects.

  • Demonstrable track record of collaborative working within successful project teams.

  • Flexibility to travel as and when necessary to meet the needs of NNB Gen Co Ltd.

  • Previous experience on Capital Works projects for Process Plants, preferably from Power, Chemical or Oil and Gas industries.

  • Relevant College/University education degree, or suitable experience
