About the opportunity:

We are currently looking to recruit an Integrated Management System (IMS) Auditor to assist with the delivery of the internal audit schedule. This role will support Hinkley Point ‘C’ (HPC) which is a vital part of the UK’s future energy strategy.

As an IMS Auditor, you will be using established audit processes. You will be responsible for delivery of audit activities within the Project., You will provide confidence that the processes and practices being operated as part of the Integrated Management System are extensive and meet the requirements of Licence Condition 17 respecting Nuclear Safety as paramount.

As an IMS Auditor, you will report to the IMS & Audit Manager.

Essential:

  • IRCA Lead auditor qualification (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001: 2018, ISO 14001:2015).

  • Experience in the application of ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO 45001 standard in a multidisciplinary project environment.

  • Act as an advocate for best practice, able to support and defend practical deployment and solutions, whilst remaining open to the ideas of others.

  • Analysis of data, preparing reports and making recommendations.

  • The ability to guide and to provide constructive feedback which is accepted by others.

  • The ability to develop effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • The ability to write accurate and constructive audit reports.

  • Desirable:

  • Knowledge & understanding of nuclear site license conditions.

  • Ability to speak French is advantageous.

  • Large-scale infrastructure project experience.

  • Previous experience of working in a regulated environment (nuclear).

  • Membership of Chartered Quality Institute or IRCA.

  • Experience of working with integrated management systems.

  • Recognised quality management qualification (CQI).
