About the opportunity :
To assist the HPC Integrated Team (WIT) Project Controls Lead by performing project control activities associated with the client.
Main Activities:
Working within the project controls team within the Bristol office assisting the WIT project controls lead by co-ordinating project change management activities, including:
• Local co-ordination of the change management process including contractual events.
• Liaison with the central project controls teams, namely the change management team and the contract management team.
• Assisting the engineering teams in creation of change requests.
• Assisting the engineering teams in responding to/creation of Contractual events in coordination with commercial manager and contracts team (CE, TQ, PICD, PWR, EWN).
• Co-ordination with the WIT Risk coordinator to ensure links with the risk register.
• Support the WIT management team in the production of monthly reports through the provision of intelligent information and analysis.
These activities will be performed in accordance with the HPC project management processes and by working in
partnership with the engineering teams in Bristol and the central project controls team based in Paris.

Note 2 : Based in Client office (Bristol) - Monday to Friday – 40hrs per week
Note 3: Travel and Subsistence is not paid for this role
Note 4: Service Incentive - on completion of 12-month continuous service in post – there is a salary uplift of 5% paid

Essential:
Engineering degree in a relevant field of engineering
Experience of working on major projects
Experience of Stakeholder management
Risk Management
Risk analysis
Change Managements process
Excellent experience using MS Word, Excel and MS Projects
Good leadership, communication and interpersonal skills including influencing
Ability to work in a team as well as on own initiative, with the capability to take responsibility for problems within their own capability and responsibility
Results focused with the ability to meet commitments and deadlines
Logical thinking, highly organised with attention to detail, high level of analytical skills
Strong numerical and analytical skills
Excellent coordination skills
MS office proficient
English fluent – written & verbal
Desirable:
• Nuclear experience, working within a regulated, licenced environment
• French language skills, written & verbal
• UK Change Connection Tool
• French fluent – written & verbal
