About the opportunity:

Since 2019 Jacobs has been engaged in supporting the client in what is one of their most challenging and complex transformation journeys ever undertaken. The programme has been designed to consolidate key enabling business functions under a single operating model.

This project provides a challenging and rewarding environment for individuals seeking to grow their experience and understanding of public sector transformation.

  • Transformation at scale. 20,000 user community, 500 strong programme team

  • Complex delivery approach. A hybrid in more than one sense, the programme employs a range of project delivery models while journeying to Scaled Agile.

  • We are entering an exciting phase of the programme lifecycle; starting to bring together the business processes and enabling technologies for the first phase of integrated testing.

  • Ahead of us lies two years of intensive work to implement the desired business changes.

Jacobs currently provide project and programme management expertise as well as business analysis capability to support programme delivery. The lifecycle of the programme is driving demand for the following skill sets, for which we are now inviting expressions of interest.

  • Project Manager / Delivery Leads (ideally versed in at scale Agile methodologies)

  • Business Analysts (able to unpick complex business process relationships and drive the client towards simple, coherent solutions)

  • Business Change practitioners (capable of translating the case for change into tangible interventions led by the business as usual)

  • Systems Engineers (with a focus on business process enabling technology & environments)

Given the nature of the work that the client does, security is of paramount importance. You need to have UK SC clearance or above, ideally achieved during the last 3 years, and be prepared to go through DV vetting.

Remote working is the norm, with limited client site visits dependent on demands of the specific work package.
