About the Opportunity

Jacobs are seeking a Project Planner / Scheduler to support our Client located in Bristol. This role will be working within the PMO team of the UK Bristol office using a Planisware based planning tool (PALADIN) to provide level 4 scheduling support to the engineering teams, including to:

  • Prepare and regularly update the level 4 activity schedule in PALADIN (Planisware).

  • Ensure adherence to the project scheduling standards including approved WBS and OBS.

  • Ensure adherence to Project Instructions.

  • Support departmental managers in the production of monthly reports through the provision of intelligent information and analysis.

These activities will be performed in accordance with the Integrated Management System and project management processes, and by working in partnership with the engineering teams in Bristol and the central project controls team based in Paris.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • Knowledge of project planning principles and techniques.

  • Ability to use planning software (Planisware software is desirable).

  • MS Excel to a high level, VBA programming a bonus.

  • Experience of an engineering design project(s) is desirable.

  • Working in a team as well as on own initiative.

  • Results focused with the ability to meet commitments and deadlines.

  • Highly organised with attention to detail and a high level of analytical skills.

  • MS Office, in particular MS Excel and MS Word.

  • Planning software: Planisware based is desirable but MS Project or similar also relevant.
