At Jacobs, our PM/CM team collaborates seamlessly with clients by delivering programs and projects to achieve our clients’ goals. Our project team in Brooklyn, NY is looking for an experienced Life Cycle Information (LCI) Coordinator to manage requirements and transfer to the client for a coastal project in Sunset Park. In this role you will partner with the Project Manager, LCI Manager and Document Controller on the client and construction team. Your ability to build relationships, effectively communicate, and commitment to producing high-quality work will set you up for success as a key member of the project team.

Responsibilities to include:

  • Establish LCI interfaces with external subcontractors in alignment with contract requirements ensuring LCI quality control procedures are met by subcontractors.

  • Manage lifecycle information such as asset tags, asset names, metadata for all incoming and outgoing documents in support of the project and maintain the LCI execution plan.

  • Establish and prepare LCI deliverables within the scope in cooperation with the Quality Control Lead.

  • Coordinate LCI with IT systems.

  • Ensure LCI/Asset information contract requirements are met

  • Coordinate work with the design and construction team.

  • Review documents for accuracy and completeness ensuring documents and submittals meet standards for production.

  • Maintain documents for LCI compliance.

  • Review and follow up LCI scope of work.

  • Once trained on client specific systems you’ll become the subject matter expert for LCI systems.

Here’s what you’ll need :

  • Bachelor degree in Architecture, Construction, Engineering or IT related field

  • 5 years professional experience working on construction or civil projects

  • Experience with LCI specific work covering project development phases from design, construction, commissioning, and operations

  • Experience in a construction environment, with an understanding of the construction process and coordination of various entities in the industry

  • Experience reviewing and understanding technical requirement documents

  • Advanced Excel capabilities

  • Working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Teams)

  • Experience with computer software for productivity on data entry and reporting

  • Willing and able to work on-site 2 days a week from the NYC or Brooklyn office

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • PIMS software experience

  • Experience with tagging equipment

  • IT background or open to learning and becoming a subject matter expert in various IT systems

The base salary range for this position is $95,000 to $130,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. ​
