We’re seeking an experienced and collaborative Resident Engineer who will support a multi-faceted building and infrastructure rehabilitation project located at our client’s site in Niagara Falls, NY. In this role, you’ll perform traditional Construction Administration / Resident Engineering functions for process conformance with approved construction documents including but not limited to the project contract, specifications, quality control plan, safety plans, schedule, request for information (RFIs), change orders, pay requests, record drawings, commissioning, and contract closeout.

We’ll ask you to actively manage and report on the status of the project schedule and budget. Monitor and document contract progress and make recommendations to the client for contractor payments, change orders, and requests for information (RFIs). You’ll conduct site meetings, coordinate, and oversee field activities for testing and inspection reviews as well as participate in project decisions regarding technical approaches, cost control, schedule control, change management, risk management and performance.

Here’s what you’ll need :

  • High School diploma

  • 10 years of field experience in construction and installation of multiple-phased projects including the commissioning of building mechanical, structural and electrical systems as required by the project needs, preferably in an operating railway system environment

  • Certified Construction Manager or a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of New York

  • Proficiency in Windows/Outlook/Word/Excel and other Microsoft applications

The base salary range for this position is $125,000 to $145,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
