We’re seeking an experienced and collaborative Senior Construction Project Manager who will manage a multi-faceted building and infrastructure rehabilitation project located at our client’s site in Niagara Falls, NY. As the Construction Project Manager, you will oversee management of the preconstruction, construction, and post-construction services. This includes the overall management of the construction processes, overseeing construction of the site’s improvements by a third-party contractor and as the project is located at a high-functioning facility, coordination and communication between the construction team, the facility, and contractors is key for the success of this project. You’ll lead project meetings keeping the client informed of project progress and challenges, assess impact of change requests or delays on the project schedule and budget, aid in resolving design issues should they arise, and review and assist client personnel with claim responses or contractor disputes.

The construction management team selected will provide and complete all phases of construction services, field checks, constructability reviews, project coordination, oversight of Inspectors, QA/QC tasks payment, scheduling and oversee construction to bring all contracts to completion on time and on budget. Your ability to multi-task, communicate effectively and tackle project challenges will allow you to thrive in our fast-paced environment.

Here’s what you’ll need :

· Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Engineering, or Architecture

· Certified Construction Project Manager and licensed Professional Engineer or a Registered Architect with 20 years of field experience in managing construction projects

· Strong working knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, contract management, project delivery methods, building systems/components and technology, team building and client relationship building

· Must be able to manage multiple projects using established controls/procedures and provide project leadership in all areas of scheduling, safety, quality, coordination with the designers, and resolve any critical issues pertinent to the project

· OSHA 30 Certification

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • Experience operating in railway / transit system environments

The base salary range for this position is $125,000 to $145,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
