We are one of the delivery partners for NEOM THE LINE, one of the most iconic giga projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, arguably one of the largest projects in the world. Based at NEOM Site, Jacobs has an opening for a Senior Environmental Manager.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

Contracted activities executed without harm to anyone or the progress of related packages.

  • Clearly define roles and responsibilities and communicated clearly to the team members and externally to achieve delivery milestones

  • Coordinate CPMT activities with connected packages

  • Directs the preparation of and issues the CPMT Execution Plan

  • Report to the Senior Package Directors formally and informally for consistent communications to THE LINE CPO, Proponent, Sectors, and Anchor Asset owners

  • Provide consistent communication with CPMT to align objectives and tasks to meeting baseline milestones

  • Recruit, hire, on-board, supervise, promote, and empower the CPMT

  • Provide forecast updates to project controls teams and risk managers to maintain a clear picture of package status and direction * Set the tone and culture for the CPMT consistent with THE LINE vision and culture

  • Maintain strong active supporting relationship with the Lead Project Manager to meet tactical objectives

  • Set the tone and enforce discipline in package delivery to ensure safety, quality, environment and sustainability, and permitting requirements are met or exceeded

  • Maintain active communication and cooperation with peers in THE LINE quality, environment, and sustainability and permitting functions to confirm and execute standard compliance.

Background Skills and Qualification

Extensive Concrete Core Construction Delivery experience

  • Design principles and practices and design software and tools

  • Engineering and construction principles

  • Construction industry standards and best practices

  • Project management principles and methodologies

  • Budgeting and financial management

  • Stakeholder management

  • Communication and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent design and technical skills

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills along with creative thinking and innovation skills combined with excellent project management skills

  • Ability to manage and motivate a team with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in order to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions under duress

Experience

  • 20 years of experience in managing and delivering complex high rise or EPC projects including strong experience and knowledge of Concrete Cores

  • Working with a variety of stakeholders, including clients, engineers, contractors, and other designers including using design software and tools

  • Project management principles and methodologies including budgeting and financial management

Construction of design for manufacturing and assembly (DFMA)
