Jacobs serves many markets that include Water, Transportation, Built Environment, Advanced Facilities, Health, and Energy. Our Strategic Consulting business are looking for a Business Consultant to develop and write business advice from strategy to execution to help solve our clients’ most complex business challenges.

The selected candidate must have excellent team-player attitude, with ability to consistently demonstrate the highest levels of professionalism, integrity, mutual respect and accountability to others. As a strategy consulting professional, you should be able to:

Technical/Functional Responsibilities:

  • Develop business strategies using tools such as market analysis, customer research, macroeconomic and microeconomic forecasting, and portfolio optimization.

  • Collect, analyses, and translate large amounts of qualitative and quantitative data into realistic plans, goals, and actionable.

  • Organizes data, graphs and other material in a logical format and implements reporting as needed on a regular interval for ease of viewing via software resources.

  • Review transaction rationale and/or deal documents to identify critical business issues and risks relating to a proposed transaction.

  • Reviews published reports, materials and recommends revisions or changes in data, format, or content.

  • Manage specific tasks execution and delivery of the projects, making sure they are delivered within the agreed timeline and budget.

  • Lead engagement teams to provide high quality strategies and operating models, and recommendations with commercial impact.

  • Identify and address client needs, actively attending client discussions and meetings.

Here’s what you’ll need :

You will have:

  • Must have at least 5 years in management consulting with projects in business strategy, procurement, supply chain in the following industries, but not limited to Transport, Infrastructure, Energy, Water or Healthcare.

  • Highly analytical with a strong academic background on business and finance. MBA preferred.

  • Thorough proficiency with Microsoft Office products and possibly Data Analytics Tools & Software (Power BI, Tableau, Pyton).

  • Ability to work in teams and regularly participate in making decisions and show problem-solving capabilities.

  • Thorough communication skills, both verbal and written are critical.

  • Thorough detail orientation and problem-solving skills.

  • Must have the ability to contribute in a team environment and work across multiple departments

  • Facilitate project meetings and produce/distribute meeting documents.

  • Proven ability to work under pressure.
