As part of our Transportation team use your best practices and knowledge of internal or external practices to support our projects. You are a big picture thinker, aware of the latest emerging mobility trends, and keen to help define, develop, and deliver innovative solutions to our clients. You’ll prepare transportation and transit planning studies, corridor plans, alternative analyses, impact assessments, concept/functional designs, policy studies, and technical reports.

You’ll work alongside our transportation team to manage projects across the spectrum of our transportation and transit planning business, including emerging areas related to mobility pricing, mobility as a service, digital on-demand transit, active transportation modes, autonomous vehicles, the implications of technology innovations, and road space re-allocation.

You’ll also use your experience to build client relationships, identify future business development opportunities, prepare proposals, and help mentor your teammates with less experience.

Terms of Employment: Full time – 40 hours /week

Language of Work: English

Here’s What You’ll Need:

• A Bachelors of Arts/Bachelors of Science, or higher, degree in planning, public administration, engineering, finance, and accounting, or related field from an accredited university

• At least 15 years of strong transportation and /or transit planning and policy experience

• Experience in developing proposals, business development and building client relationships

Ideally, You’ll Also Have:  

• Ability to manage projects effectively and meet firm deadlines

• Ability to work on several projects or issues simultaneously

• Ability to develop strong external and internal working relationships with consideration of various personalities

• Proven ability to communicate sensitive issues (includes technical and complex), verbally and written, in a convincing manner that maintains and builds trust

Location of work: CH2M HILL Canada Limited, a Jacobs Company; 2100, Metrotower II, 4720 Kingsway, Burnaby V5H 4N2

Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, disability, sick time, health spending account, life and AD&D insurance, RRSP employee match up to 3.5%, association /license fees, vacation time – minimum 15 days, but varies as per Jacobs policy

Salary: $165,000-$185,000 for 40-hour work week

English Fluency

Not eligible for overtime in accordance with Jacobs policy

Eligible for bonuses and annual salary increases
