We are looking for a driven and curious client-focused, Entry Level Ports and Maritime Structural Engineer. In this position, you’ll have the chance to work with our global multi-disciplinary team of engineers on ports and maritime projects worldwide. You’ll be involved as part of the team with design, analysis, and delivery of projects ranging from local waterfront projects to large scale international port developments in the cruise, cargo and ferry industries.

We’ll provide you the challenge of working on coordination and design of new marine structures as well as structural rehabilitation and retrofit projects. As one of our Structural Engineers, you will assist in the preparation of structural calculations/designs, contract drawings and specifications, cost estimates, construction schedules, engineering reports, and construction/field reports. You will be given the opportunity to interface with clients and subconsultants, give presentations and work on technical proposals. Here’s what you’ll need :

  • Bachelor or Master of Science Degree in Civil Engineering, Ocean Engineering, Structural Engineering or related engineering field from an ABET accredited university or college

  • Familiarity with ACI, AISC, and AASHTO

  • Completion of Part I of the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam preferred (with ability to get a Florida License within five years)

  • Familiarity with structural analysis programs (preferably STAAD.Pro), AutoCAD, MathCAD, and Revit or other BIM software

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
