Primary Job Responsibilities
Support the Principal Ecologist in project deliveryPlanning and resourcing of ecological surveysLead ecological surveysSupport business developmentCandidates must have a flexible approach to working hours to accommodate seasonality and survey time constraints
An honours degree in ecology or a closely related fieldCIEEM membershipAn experienced ecology surveyor and a good field scientistSurveying and work experience in the UK regulatory framework including protected species licensingExperienced in running small projectsAbility to write clear and concise reportsAble to produce quality assured ecology deliverablesAble to mentor less experience members of the teamGood communication and IT skillsCurrent and full driving licence
