The key responsibilities are:

Supporting the Group Director in delivering the annual business plan. Including:

• Plan utilisation of staff against forecast work, implement use of Workforce Planning Tool to support this

• Manage weekly / monthly / annual G&A targets (labour & non-labour)

• Support operational growth across delivery domains

• Drive improvement in project Revenue, GM, GM/hr, PNB ratios, and PU NOM

• Drive successful invoice management, and maintenance of DSOs within 55-day limit

• Delivery of HSSEA short and long-term performance, fully in line with BeyondZero and PlanBeyond

• Monitoring and implementing any security measures required

• Supporting the resolution of any operational conflicts of interest across the business

• Ensuring that operations are transparent, ethical, effective, efficient and in line with the Jacobs values

• Compliance with appropriate governance in line with company policy supported by the functions;

• Ensure PU operational delivery complies with the latest Jacobs BMS

• Support and fully participate in developing a culture of inclusion and diversity in line with Jacobs I&D policies

• Support and lead implementation of internal change, continuous improvement and business efficiency initiatives

• Support in achieving a range of quality focused performance metrics that help deliver performance excellence

• Lead on CSP data compliance with live operational growth opportunities

• Support the PU with operational growth activity, including organic growth, xPU, xOU and xLOB collaborations, including the chairing of Go / No-Go meetings

• Support and drive a culture of performance excellence in the performance unit

• Lead on sharing good performance/practice within CSS and wider T&C and CMS-I.

• Act as key touch point into supporting functions and services

• Own the preparation of MI for reporting

The role is focused on supporting the Group Director, Cyber & Security Solutions to implement a high-performance culture and deliver sustained superior performance to our customers. Key elements of the role are to work collaboratively, communicate effectively and influence across the PU and OU with the primary focus on delivering and exceeding the annual business plan. To act as DoA for Operational needs for the Cyber Group.

Degree level qualifications or equivalent

Knowledge, skills and experience:

An experienced manager with a demonstrable track record in successful delivery of business operations with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Personal attributes: Collaborative, strong communication skills, attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
