As an Entry Level ESG/EHS Technology Consultant , you'll have the chance to support the design and implementation of EHS and ESG technology solutions for clients in all major industries and geographies.

We provide technology consulting and solutions to optimize our clients' EHS and ESG operations and compliance. Based in the US or Canada, you’ll work in multi-disciplinary teams of client and consulting staff to deliver enterprise sustainability, carbon reduction, environmental compliance, and health & safety information solutions. During your time with us, you’ll have the opportunity to interact with Jacobs’ technical experts while building relationships with client stakeholders.

What you’ll do:
Configure software systems to meet a client’s need for one of their EHS or ESG processes (configuration could include creating new forms, adding fields, adding workflow steps, adjusting user’s security/permissions, creating email reminders, etc.) You will do this by learning back-end techniques specific to the particular software.
Develop reports to help clients’ gain insights regarding their EHS or ESG operations, patterns, or progress towards goals.
Testing/reviewing your own work and other team members’ work, looking for discrepancies or opportunities to make the system more user-friendly, more streamlined, or more visually appealing.
Utilize PowerPoint, Word, etc. to create training resources for new users at the client company so that they can learn how to use the software system that you have configured for them.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering or Chemical Engineering, Data Science, Business, Management Information Systems, Sustainability or Sustainable/Resilient Systems, or other natural or physical science.
Relevant coursework, internships, co-ops and/or 0-2 years of work experience in environmental, health and safety management, engineering, software development/implementation, or consulting.
Interest in ESG/EHS software (Enablon, Sphera, Intelex, Cority, ServiceNow, BenchmarkESG, Workiva, Persefoni, Watershed, Metrio, Avarni, Velocity EHS, and others)
Experience with databases and configuration of off-the-shelf applications.

The base salary range for this position is $55K to $75K. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
