Jacobs Civil Aviation Engineering Intern - Summer 2025 in Cary, North Carolina

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work under the supervision of staff to perform quantity takeoffs, computer modeling, design calculations, and plan set production for military and commercial airfields including, but not limited to, such disciplines as earthwork, pavements, and drainage.

  • Work closely on project assignments with those of other engineers and technicians in their discipline group.

  • Assists with other duties assigned by Project Engineers and/or Project Managers.

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering

  • Strong analytical, conceptual, communication and organizational skills

  • Ability to efficiently utilize time in executing assigned tasks accurately and on time.

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • AutoCAD or Civil3D experience
