Your Impact:
At Jacobs, we’re seeking a Director of Project Services LSNA. The successful candidate will be an experienced people leader with a diverse background spanning project controls and commercial management. You’ll bring an excellent track record of delivering superior technical solutions to Clients through a combination of technical knowledge, expertise and ability to lead a team of multidisciplined professionals working together to execute a portfolio of complex large cap projects.
The successful candidate will be accountable for a team of professionals providing the following services:
• Project forecasting, commercial & project controls management
• Scheduling & Planning management for the engineering, procurement, construction management, qualification, and validation phases of major capital projects
• Progress measurement oversight through the application of earned value and commercial terms oversight
• Know Preconstruction methodology and impact to large projects.
• Supply chain management to include capital equipment buying, expediting and logistics
• Subcontracts, and contracts management in support of long range commercial focus
Responsibilities will include:
• Providing day to day supervision, guidance, and direction to team members
• Manage a portfolio of projects focusing on Commercial, project controls and project services oversight.
• Interfacing with Clients, subcontractors, project, construction, and operations management personnel as required
• Solve problems, providing solutions, and help develop innovating work processes
• Implements procedures for Project Services & Contract management in administration of compliance within company policy.
• Attracting, develop, and retaining a diverse and talented workforce
• Drafts correspondence and keeps records essential for documenting the efficient management of project services & project commercial issues.
• Support team leaders and individual team members and help them achieve their goals and objectives, while simultaneously meeting or exceeding Corporate and Client goals and objectives
• Serve as an escalation point for project teams as required
• Serve in an advisory role to senior management
• Effectively present detailed information to Client management as well as to all levels of Jacobs management

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in Architecture/ Engineering, Design-Build, P3, project management, construction, project controls, Commercial and/or staff leadership or equivalent
• A bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, business, law or equivalent work experience two years of work experience can be considered equivalent to one year of college education
• Experience in heavy industrial projects - preference towards exp in the Life Sciences, Electronics or Manufacturing facility building industry
Ideally, here’s what you’ll also have:
• Demonstrated experience and expertise in multiple disciplines within the project services portfolio gained through a series of progressively responsible roles
• Experience with commercial review of large cap programs within the EPC industry
• Strong business acumen and a strategic mindset
• Customer focus with strong verbal and written communication skills
• An ability to build, lead and manage a diverse and effective team
