- Jacobs is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with a passion for engineering automated solutions to join the team on-site in Northern Virginia.
Ensure the environment is developed, configured, deployed, monitored, and managed effectively.
Utilize modern monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Graylog.
Develop automation that improves deployment speed and reliability.
Troubleshoot, automate detection, and resolve recurring issues in testing and production environments.
Drive projects and technical initiatives, and architectural and technical improvements.
Container orchestration using Kubernetes.

Active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph
Bachelors Business Information Technology, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
10+ years relevant technical experience.
Extensive experience with modern monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Graylog.
Experience with automating detection and resolution of recurring issues in production environments.
Experience with troubleshooting issues on remote systems.
Experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes.
Experience with RHEL CentOS system administration.
Proficiency with Git.
Must be able to work on-site in Northern Virginia Area.
Puppet or Ansible experience.
AWS cloud platform experience.
Active TS/SCI Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph.
