Your Impact :

  • Jacobs is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with a passion for engineering automated solutions to join the team on-site in Northern Virginia.

Responsibilities :

  • Ensure the environment is developed, configured, deployed, monitored, and managed effectively.

  • Utilize modern monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Graylog.

  • Develop automation that improves deployment speed and reliability.

  • Troubleshoot, automate detection, and resolve recurring issues in testing and production environments.

  • Drive projects and technical initiatives, and architectural and technical improvements.

  • Container orchestration using Kubernetes.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

Here’s What You’ll Need :

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph

  • Bachelors Business Information Technology, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.

  • 10+ years relevant technical experience.

  • Extensive experience with modern monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Graylog.

  • Experience with automating detection and resolution of recurring issues in production environments.

  • Experience with troubleshooting issues on remote systems.

  • Experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes.

  • Experience with RHEL CentOS system administration.

  • Proficiency with Git.

  • Must be able to work on-site in Northern Virginia Area.

Preferred :

  • Puppet or Ansible experience.

  • AWS cloud platform experience.

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph.
