Jacobs is seeking an innovative and collaborative Program Manager (PM) to support the upcoming ALTESS contract in Radford, VA. This position is CONTINGENT upon contract award, the expected award date is in September 2021. The U.S. Army Product Director Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology Enterprise Systems and Services (PD ALTESS or ALTESS) contract support various IT functionality and multiple missions throughout the DoD, Army, and Federal workspaces.
The PM will be responsible for serving as the Government’s primary point-of-contact and to provide overall leadership and guidance for all contractor personnel assigned to the contract. The PM is ultimately responsible for the quality and efficiency of the performance of the contract to include both technical issues and business processes. The PM shall have organizational authority to execute the requirements of the contract. The PM shall assign tasking to contractor personnel, supervise ongoing technical efforts, and manage overall contract performance. Job duties of the PM will include but are not limited to:
Oversee fiscal, operational, administrative, and human resources management of the program
Will develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports
Will manage program staffing to ensure operational and special project needs are met
Will ensure adherence to quality standards and reviews deliverables
Serves as the principal point of representation and liaison with external constituencies on operational matters
This individual shall be located on-site and have the ultimate authority to commit the contractor’s organization and make decisions for the contractor’s organization in response to Government issues, concerns, or problems.
This individual shall be readily available to respond to Government questions, concerns, and comments, as well as be proactive in alerting the Government to potential contractual or programmatic issues.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
Program Management Professional (PMP) Certification or DAWIA Level III in Program Management with a minimum of 5 years of experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or Information Systems, or Engineering, or Business, or related scientific or technical discipline
Be able to manage large scale Information Technology contracts of similar size and scope
Excellent written and oral communication skills to meet the requirement of developing and presenting complex information to senior Government officials using Microsoft Office Suite applications
Master’s Degree in Computer Science, or Information Systems, or Engineering, or Business, or related scientific or technical discipline
Experience deploying large scale hardware and software systems enhancements and/or upgrades for an organization with widely distributed geographic sites
Experience with current and emerging network and infrastructure management technologies and business practices
