Job Description:

The Biometric Identity Intelligence Analytic Support (BI2AS) Knowledge Manager develops, deploys, and maintains data solutions for the program. The Knowledge Manager must possess a wide range of skill sets, both in the data management and data presentation arenas. This position also requires close coordination with Program Leadership and is expected to advise program leadership on data management, processing, and storage in compliance with government requirements for data handling and storage.

Duties/Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Dynamic development of SharePoint sites, tools, and functions to support management and data collection efforts

  • Application of expert SharePoint management knowledge when coordinating with corporate SharePoint development teams

  • Integration of workflow automation to streamline processes

  • Integration of data into analytic tools such as Microsoft’s Power Bi or Tableau

  • Program data structure management (folder structure management)

  • Advise and assist in ensuring compliance with government requirements for data security and storage

  • SharePoint Designer and InfoPath experience are critical to the development and maintenance of SharePoint pages across three networks (JWICS, SIPR, and NIPR). #CJCYBER

Here’s What You’ll Need:

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of eight (8) years of Knowledge Management experience.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems (IS), or related discipline OR four (4) additional years of experience as Knowledge Manager .

  • Minimum of three (3) years of technical SharePoint management, to include experience creating, troubleshooting, and maintaining SharePoint applications/pages.

  • Ability to develop briefing materials and provide administrative support.

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Excellent writing skills and ability to communicate effectively.

  • Knowledge Manager Certification is preferred, yet not required.

Desired Requirements:

  • Ability to manage, manipulate, and analyze large volumes of data in various applications.

  • Self-driven, motivated, and autonomous disposition. Must possess the ability to identify potential issues and propose solutions prior to mission impact.

  • Extensive experience using Excel to include the ability to write and understand complex formulas using Excel formula syntax. Experience developing measures and formulas using Data Analysis Expressions (DAX), managing pivot tables, and capable of connecting external data sources to Excel workbooks desired but not required.

  • Experience with managing large and complex data sets across a variety of different applications (such as Excel, SharePoint, Access DB, CDS, etc.) is essential. Experience with Power BI and Power Apps is not required but is highly valued.

  • Ability to quickly develop ad-hoc reports using a combination of the above-mentioned applications in support of program management.

  • Essential Functions: Physical Requirements: Most work will be done at a desk or computer. Work Environment: General Office environment. The work environment is fast-paced and sometimes involves extreme deadline pressures. The nature of the work requires a high degree of teamwork and cooperation with other members of the staff as well as individuals across the Company and Customers. Equipment & Machines: General office equipment including PC/laptop, Fax, Copiers, Shredder, Printers, Telephone, and other miscellaneous office equipment. Attendance: Attendance is critical at all times. Must be able to work a 40-hour workweek, normally Monday through Friday. However, times and days may vary depending on business requirements. Needs to be available to work overtime during critical peaks and be available to meet last minute requests for overtime should the situation occur. Other Essential Functions: Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others. Must put forward a professional behavior that enhances productivity and promotes teamwork and cooperation. Must be able to interface with individuals at all levels of the organization both verbally and in writing. Must be well-organized with the ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously. Must work well under pressure to meet deadline requirements. Must be willing to travel as needed. Must take and pass a drug test and background check as well as a motor vehicle records check. Must be a US citizen.
