We currently have an opportunity for a GraduateCivil Engineer within our Highways design team based in Chelmsford, Essex. Thesuccessful person will become part of a respected and ambitious company withexcellent career prospects and international opportunities.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
You will join part of a busy Highways Designteam working on a variety on Engineering schemes principally across Essex. Youwill join one of the existing design teams and be introduced to schemefeasibility, development and detail design as well as Safety and Constructiondisciplines
Opportunities to move round teams and indeedoffices, in time, will be discussed
You will hold, or be working towards, an accredited MEng in Civil Engineering (or equivalent and expecting a 2:1 as a minimum)
Excellent analytical and technical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Able to produce well-presented and accurate drawings and reports
Committed to work and capable of managing own tasks, costs and meeting deadlines
Self-motivated and able to work as part of a team
Good IT skills
Proficient with use of AutoCAD
Health and Safety training
