We are seeking a resource to support development and implementation of strategic asset management program(s), with primary area of focus being aviation. The selected individual will act as liaison and provide coordination between key stakeholders, including but not limited to Facilities & Maintenance, Engineering, Design, Construction and Capital teams. S/he will be responsible to ensure that inter-communications are established and maintained with key stakeholders in order to secure mutual understanding, unity of action, and effective development and implementation of strategic asset management programs. This position will work closely with the broader Jacobs asset management consulting team to support programs, manage key deliverables an provide needed asset management expertise to the client.
Management and Leadership of strategic asset management program, including but not be limited to the following:
Play leadership role in the development and implementation of strategic asset management program in support of the Airport’s strategic vision, goals & objectives
Develop and manage project plans to ensure expectations met and key deliverables are delivered on time and within budget
Provide leadership, guidance, oversight and coordination of technical staff, consultants, contractors, and committees/teams to ensure the delivery of key elements of the asset management program, with a focus on the airports meeting the needs of customers and to achieve strategic goals concerning airports facilities and existing infrastructure systems.
Engaged with identifying and documenting necessary policies and procedures for the asset management program (asset on boarding, warranty management, asset criticalities, naming conventions, hierarchies etc.)
Provide technical asset management expertise for key stakeholders
Participate in regular management meetings to keep team informed of asset management program, address risk and barrier
Primary client liaison regarding asset management program.
Development of Key Performance Metrics (KPIs) and performance targets and perform data analytics tasks to report those to management team on regular basis
Liaison with airport management on a regular basis to identify and implement process improvement initiatives
Bachelors' degree from an accredited University or College in Facilities Management, Construction Management, Business, or a related field, required
Minimum 7 years’ experience in facilities maintenance, asset management and/or construction operations required
Experience in the use of Enterprise Asset Management systems; Maximo, Fleet Focus, Work Day, e-Builder preferred
The applicant must have a strong work ethic, be a team player, good organizational skills, ability to work in a fast-past environment, prioritize multiple tasks, work with all levels of employees, departments, and contractors, have excellent written and oral communication skills and work well under little or no supervision
Be familiar with RS Means and/or other similar cost estimating methods to develop replacement costs for assets
Be familiar with common building systems such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing and other airport specific systems
Be familiar with industry standard classification systems such as OmniClass, Uniformart, and Masterformat.
Project Management Institute (PMI) Certified preferred
Airport experience preferred
Able to work overtime and weekends as needed.
