As an emerging Construction Engineer/Inspection, you’ll join our collaborative team providing our clients with award-winning engineering, construction management, and design-build project delivery. We are looking for a passionate Construction Engineer with inspection capabilities in Chicago who is driven by collaboration, exceeding expectations, and challenging the status quo. You’ll provide construction inspection services for Chicago Department of Water Management (CDWM). You’ll be responsible for daily construction inspection of new water main/and/or street restoration, status reporting, and contract-owner coordination.
You’ll be accountable for interacting with our construction sites, clients, and management to support the planning and technical portion of the project. Your keen ability to multi-task, communicate effectively and tackle project challenges will allow you to thrive in our fast-paced environment. Here’s What You’ll Need:

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related discipline
At least 2 years of experience with utility infrastructure work
At least 5 years of experience water/wastewater or transportation engineering/construction, and/or general civil/ construction for public for public infrastructure design and construction
Ability to commute to/from multiple work sites
Proficiency with Microsoft applications, including Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ideally, you’ll also have:
Engineer in Training-EIT certification or Professional Engineer (PE) license
