As an emerging Construction Inspector, you’ll join our collaborative team providing our clients with award-winning engineering, construction management, and design-build project delivery. We are looking for a passionate Construction Inspector in Chicago who is driven by collaboration, exceeding expectations, and challenging the status quo.You’ll provide construction inspection services for Chicago Department of Water Management (CDWM). You’ll be responsible for daily construction inspection of new water main/and/or street restoration, status reporting, and contract-owner coordination.
You’ll be accountable for interacting with our construction sites, clients, and management to support the planning and technical portion of the project. Your keen ability to multi-task, communicate effectively and tackle project challenges will allow you to thrive in our fast-paced environment. Here’s What You’ll Need:
High School diploma,or equivalent
At least 5 years of experience in construction inspection for civil infrastructure projects, without college degree
At least 2 years of experience in civil engineering or construction management, with bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Bachelor of Science in Engineering, or an Associate Degree, or an Associate in Arts
Ideally, you’ll also have:
- Inspection or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification
