As an FF&E and Procurement Manager on our team in Chicago, IL , you’ll get to grow your skills and join our collaborative team providing our client with planning, design, construction management, and project execution of state-of-the-art healthcare facility.

This role will be a key member as the project progresses, leading towards procurement of owners FF&E and coordinating these procurements with the construction schedule, leading towards installation and start of building activation, as the construction completes. Post construction completion or as areas become substantially complete, this role will coordinate with the Jacobs Activation team as we lead the efforts of occupancy, move-in, building activation, to go live and first patient date. You'll lead oversight to the Medical Equipment Planner, coordinate with the activation team and manage the owner’s vendors executing and ensuring the contract deliverables are met. Vendors include: artwork consultant, furniture consultant, technology design team, photo documentation consultant, and sound masking system.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field

  • 5+ years’ experience in Architecture, Engineering, Construction management or related field with at least 50% of which shall have been in the planning, programming, user management or administration of projects resulting in a building or structure being constructed

  • Working knowledge of space management tools and software including e-Builder, PowerPoint, Excel, Smartsheets, etc.

  • Proven experience in the Healthcare or related experience (laboratory, institutional)

  • Ability to read, understand, manage and communicate to a CMP schedule, in the efforts of being an active team member in overall schedule coordinating, logistics and change management on the project
