Your Impact:

As our global supply and ask for water grows, solving the world’s most complex water challenges requires different thinking – and that’s where we come in. We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Midwest Deputy Group Leader to join our growing Water team.

You'll play a key role as part of our high-performing Water Teams across Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, and Illinois, and lead exciting projects that transform the stewardship of water across the Midwest.

As our Deputy Group Leader you will have the chance to work with clients to develop water strategies that improve the management of water resources, grow our teams, and support our national and global geographic operations. Collaborating with other members of our team, you'll guide, develop, and lead planning and design efforts in hydrologic/hydraulic modeling, stormwater improvements, flood control, stream restoration, and/or water and wastewater related design and construction tasks and projects.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering or related degree

  • At least ten (10) years of experience in water, wastewater and/or /watershed planning, design

  • At least ten (10) years of experience in project or task management activities related to water engineering projects

  • Excellent communicator

  • Experience leading teams with a passion for sustainability and developing the infrastructure needed to serve communities

Ideally You'll Also Have:

  • Master’s Degree with broad learning in water applied subjects

  • Experience in developing a clear vision, clients, proposals and project management

  • Experience in MN, IA, WI and/or IL

  • Proven track record in resource management and team building

  • Adept at interpersonal relationship building, conflict resolution, and leading/collaborating with diverse teams
