Your Impact:
Our onsite Program Management team in Chicago, IL is looking to add a driven and collaborative Office Engineer to their team in support of a multi-billion-dollar airport capital Redevelopment Program. The redevelopment will occur in the middle of an active airport. The existing terminal and concourses will remain operational while the new facility is built in place in a phased approach. This position allows for the opportunity to be a major contributor to the growth of one of the busiest airports in the world as part of the program management team.
The position will be as part of a joint venture team and the selected candidate will be hired by Jacobs or one of the JV partners.
In this role you’ll report directly to the project manager acting as a coordinator between CDA, stakeholders, consultants, construction manager at-risk (CMAR), and the design team, assist project managers on requested and assigned tasks, and manage submittals and RFIs in eBuilder within the Terminal 5 Project. You’ll request, review, distribute, track, and file CMAR deliverables, performs design and specification review on 30%, 60%, and 90% designs, coordinates the design documents by opening, managing, and compiling comments in a Bluebeam session and assist in comment resolution meetings, coordinate CMAR software and document integration into eBuilder, follow-up on open items to ensure all contract work is in compliance with contract documents for both the designers and CMARs. Create matrixes and logs for l assignments and tasks, review, track, and file the trade packages and bid documents and requirements, review and write recommendation letters for PROF/ SARS and attend meetings and prepare meeting minutes.

Here’s What You’ll Need:
Bachelor degree in Engineering or related field
3-5 years of experience working on large construction projects
Knowledge in RFI tracking, contract document review, forecast and cost scheduling, preparation of change order review and the review of payments
Proficient with MS Office Suite of tools and scheduling applications
Ability to work onsite full time at O’Hare International Airport
Ideally, You’ll Also Have:
- Experience working on Aviation construction buildings projects
