A goal without a plan is just a wish. Which is why we take time to think through every step of the process in hopes of sustaining our world and creating a brighter future together.
Globally, vehicle fleet owners and operators are under significant pressure to decarbonize their operations. Converting large fleets from fossil fuel to zero-emission alternatives such as battery-electric or hydrogen fuel cell will be critical to a sustainable future. However, these will be revolutionary changes with major impacts on all aspects of an organization: fleet, operations, facilities, utilities, staff, and more.
Large-scale adoption of zero-emissions technology is still in its early stages, and presents significant technical, organizational, and logistical challenges. Zero-emissions fleet adoption will require detailed planning, multi-disciplinary collaboration, significant financial resources, and motivated staff to support successful execution.
Jacobs is expanding our team to tackle the complexities of transportation decarbonization for some of the largest fleet operators in the world.
