You’ll be responsible for the operational needs and all activities involved with procuring goods for new projects – big and small. We’ll rely on you to collaborate with the client Project Management Office (PMO) team and multiple vendors to identify and achieve project milestones and deadlines from vendor quotes to scheduling delivery and install. You'll work with a knowledgeable and supportive team as you facilitate the issuance of RFP’s, evaluate and negotiate proposals and issue purchase orders. You’ll tap into both your creative and analytical sides as you support each phase of the bid process from vendor and product selection to order changes to auditing budgetary data.
As part of the team, you will assist with defining both short- and long-term strategies to ensure that the project is consistent with the overall schedule. You'll work with our client to identify the processes for sourcing while advising on contract terms, cost savings/overall best value and negotiating for complex RFPs and RFQs. Guiding supplier meetings will be one of your responsibilities while managing supplier expectations and monitoring performance.

Here’s What You’ll Need:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, Supply Management, or related field
7+ years of experience in Procurement, Buyer or FF&E
Strong negotiation and analytical skills with a focus on providing greater value to our clients.
Experience bidding, evaluating and awarding Purchase Order in accordance with the project schedule
Experience managing supplier invoices, changes, back-charges, claims, and closeout as part of post-award administration
Ability to interact externally with suppliers, and internally with different groups and departments, as well as Client facing.
