The position will support the Information Technology/Information Management (IT/IM) Department in assembling IA solutions for DOD, NAVAIR and NAWCWD computer labs and customers. Candidate will report to the Code 7.2 and Command Information Assurance Manager.

Duties will include – 1) Performing initial/finalreview of Customer and IA Analyst provided SSAA technicalCertification and Accreditation (C&A) documentation forcompleteness 2) Noting and resolving discrepancies between theappendices and network drawings 3) Ensuring that all systemssoftware is registered in the proper databases with current usedates 4) Providing discrepancy documentation and reviewingfindings with the end customer.

  • ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: A HighSchool diploma and an additional four (4) years of experiencecan be substituted for a BS or BS degree.\

Candidate must have four (4) years of U.S. military orDepartment of Defense (DoD) Information Assurance (IA)/Information Technology (IT) experience. Experience with DoD IACertification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) and RMF isrequired. Candidate must possess a “Security ” or higher IAcertification and have a work history of successfully workingwell in a team environment coordinating IA efforts across localand National IA teams.

Must possess a current CompTIA Security (CE) certification a the time of hire.

Must have an active secret security clearance at the time of hire.

Essential Functions

Physical Requirements

  • Working at a computer or desk (considerations: sitting, eye strain, hand strain)

  • May involve long periods of sitting or standing.

  • Some work may be in computer rooms with raised floors.

Work Environment

  • An inside office environment (Considerations: Closed quarters, lighting, and temperature fluctuations)

  • Needs to have clear, concise and accurate communication skills

  • Need to work well with, co-operate, and support clients, supervisors, and co-workers

Equipment and Machines

  • Standard office equipment and machines, computer workstation.

  • Working at a computer or desk

Attendance

  • Normal hours are Monday – Thursday 7:00am – 5:00pm, non-flex Fridays 7:00am to 4:00pm (5/4/9 work schedule).

  • Punctuality and regular attendance are necessary to meet deadlines

  • Regular attendance is necessary and required
