At Jacobs, our water business provides the full spectrum of consulting services from advisory and adaptative pathway planning through to engineering design and asset management - our scientists, engineers, planners and community engagement teams work collaboratively with clients, communities and traditional owners to find the right solutions to their water challenges.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Environmental Scientist to join our Christchurch New Zealand Water Resources team in 2024 . You’ll be working on projects for a range of clients across New Zealand and Australia. The projects and tasks you’ll be involved in include data analysis, and spatial analysis for water resource and/or water quality assessments. You’ll also be involved in reporting of technical analysis and results as well as potential fieldwork – and we'll mentor you each step of the way to ensure you're set up for success.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
Ideally, by January 2024 you'll hold a university degree in a field related to Environmental Science (e.g. Geography, Earth Science, Natural Resources, Water Quality, Aquatic Ecology, Hydrology, Hydrogeology) . This is a unique role that requires applicants to hold the right to work in New Zealand.
