We are seeking a Senior Architect (Hybrid) to join our Cincinnati, Ohio growing team and provide design leadership and mentorship for our Life Sciences building projects for nationwide and global projects. In this role you will have the opportunity to lead architectural project teams that research, plan, design, develop and document Life Sciences projects. As a key member of the team, you’ll supervise the work of others and be committed to total project success. With this responsibility, you will coordinate thoroughly with in-house disciplines and external consultants, achieving comprehensive, integrated project delivery. You will meet with clients, client representatives and constructors to discuss technical aspects of project programming, design, delivery, and construction. Accountable for project technical quality and responsible also for creating, maintaining and revising project budgets and schedules.
Travel will be required on a project need basis and as needed
Here’s what you’ll need :
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture
Registered Architect
15 years of experience working in an EPCM environment preferred
Life Sciences with bio-tech process architecture skill set preferred
Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and Navisworks (or similar)
Client facing skills
Experience supervising the work of other design professionals
Advanced experience with building codes and specifications
Advanced understanding of building materials and systems and methods of construction.
Advanced understanding of integration of building services, building core and envelope element
Advanced knowledge of and conversant in sustainability and energy conservation matters
Ideally you’ll have:
Master’s degree in Architecture
Excellent communication skills
Leadership skills
Able to effectively balance multiple priorities
Self-driven time management skills
Focus on total project success
Experience with complex building projects
NCARB
LEED
Experience designing industrial facilities
Experience in SketchUp, Bluebeam Revue, other modeling and rendering software
