Your Impact:

Jacobs’ Cincinnati office is looking for a highly-motivated team member to work on a variety of water resources and conveyance planning and design projects. You’ll support Jacobs’ sales, operations, and technology leaders in pursuing and delivering water resources and conveyance projects locally, regionally, and nationally. Candidates should be self-motivated professionals with the ability to collaborate in a diverse and fast-paced environment, and the desire to contribute to thought leadership in the water market.

As a Senior Water Resources Engineer you’ll work closely with Jacobs’ regional and national Solutions & Technology leaders to pursue and deliver projects. In your position, you’ll:

• Support sales leadership with project pursuits;

• Support Conveyance and Water Resources teams with project delivery;

• Serve as a Project Manager and client contact for new project assignments;

• Interact with clients on project delivery;

• Lead Jacobs’ delivery teams for new project assignments;

• Support sales leadership with strengthening relationships with key water market clients;

• Support the development of junior staff and project delivery teams in the conveyance and water resources fields;

• Develop abstracts and articles for industry journals and conferences;

• Attend and participate in water market conferences;

• Participate in professional organizations for marketing, industry recognition, networking, and building the Jacobs brand.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil or Environmental Engineering or similar field

  • PE License or ability to obtain PE license

  • Significant experience in Water Resources

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • Master’s in Civil or Environmental Engineering or similar field

  • Academic and professional background in water resources, hydraulics/fluid mechanics/hydrology, conveyance systems planning and design
