We're looking for a Technical Services Manager in Cincinnati, OH who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients’ business. The Technical Services Manager (TSM) reports to the Director of Engineering, Life Sciences – Cincinnati, and is in accountable for leading and developing the engineering expertise within our Cincinnati Operations. Your multi-discipline, highly interactive team will develop and deliver small- and large-scale capital projects. You’ll help others discover what drives them, nurturing their purpose and guiding them forward. The TSM maintains a highly collaborative relationship with the Life Sciences global subject matter expertise in the US and Globally. Your role will keep our company connected, and we’ll support you with what you need to be successful. But you’re not just a leader – you’re an achiever.  In addition, this role supports sales pursuits through infusing technical expertise and industry trends in the proposal development and client presentation.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor's degree in an Architecture or Engineering Discipline

• 20+ years engineering and design expertise supporting all phases of Pharmaceutical / Biotechnological projects

• Passionate and forward thinking, eager to develop best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas 

• Stay current with new technology, design approaches and industry trends

• Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written

• Actively participate in learning programs and training sessions to share best practices

• Demonstrated experience managing staff and workflow

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills  

• Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base 

• Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams 

• Experience in proposal development and client presentation skills

• Interest in mentoring and developing the pipeline of senior technical talent at Jacobs.

Ideally, you’ll also have: 

• Professional Architectural License or Engineering Registration highly desired

• Industry / Engineering Society Memberships (i.e., AAES, ASME, IEC, IEEE, ISPE, NCARB, NSPE, SOWE, etc.)
