Jacobs Entry Level Structural (Bridge) Engineer in Clark, New Jersey
Based in Clark, NJ you will have the chance to work on exciting and engaging large-scale and small-scale infrastructure projects and utilize your bridge design expertise to work on several interesting and challenging transportation related projects. The candidate will assist engineers in bridge calculations, designs, modeling, quantity take offs, plan preparation and exhibit creation. You’ll work with the best Engineers and Project Managers in the business, as well as gain experience working directly with our clients. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on structure design
0-2 years of bridge design experience
Course work related to transportation with an emphasis on structure design
Engineer in Training (EIT) or ability to obtain within 6 months.
Strong analytical, conceptual, communication and organizational skills.
Ideally, you’ll also have:
Masters in structural design
Previous design intern experience
Knowledge of and experience using CADD/Design software (Microstation/Geopak)
NJDOT and NJTA experience a plus
Knowledge of and experience in structural design software (MIDAS/CsiBridge/etc.)
