Bring your expertise and join our team of national experts. You’ll continue to grow your career as a Water Resource Engineer for our water market clients by leading water quality studies, master plans, condition assessments and more. You’ll develop basis of designs, deliver detailed designs, and assist through engineering services during construction and treatment commissioning activities. You’ll work with industry recognized mentors as you grow your career into leadership and mentoring yourself. We look forward to supporting your active involvement with WEF and/or AWWA.
You’ll interact directly with our team leadership, the owner and contractors throughout various phases of project delivery. You and your team will deliver work in a fast paced, dynamic environment to establish design requirements and produce studies, designs and contract documents.

Here’s what you’ll need :
Bachelor’s Degree in environmental, chemical, or civil engineering
Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Ohio, with the ability to obtain reciprocity in other States
Demonstrated understanding of wastewater, drinking water and/or industrial water unit processes, water quality studies, regulations, permitting, advanced treatment technologies, master planning and condition assessments
Willingness to learn Jacobs’ proprietary tools
Strong water quality analyses background
Experience providing and receiving Quality Assurance and Quality Control reviews
Self-motivated, initiator; demonstrated through professional society involvements or related activities
Ideally, You’ll Also Have:
Master’s Degree in civil, chemical, or mechanical engineering
Research based background
Experience mentoring and coaching other engineers
Experience providing facility start-up assistance
Proof of United States citizenship
Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with clients and to win work
Strong communication skills both verbal and written
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas
Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base
Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams
