JACOBS is looking for

ENVIRONMENTAL PROJECT CONSULTANT

to be located in the Milan Office

The selected candidate will be supporting environmental projects in the field of consulting, site investigation / characterization, remediation design and implementation, due diligence audits, environmental compliance and permitting.

The following skills are mandatory requirements:

  • Degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, or Environmental Sciences;

  • 4 years of experience in environmental projects;

  • Solid technical background relative to environmental topics (contaminated site characterization, human health risk assessment, and remediation techniques)

  • Availability and interest to support field work, mainly consisting of (but not limited to) drilling supervision and sampling (groundwater / soil / soil gas sampling) and/or remediation plant O&M activities;

  • Data management and reporting skills;

  • Knowledge of the application of national environmental (D.Lgs. 152/06) and H&S (D.Lgs. 81/08) legislation;

  • Familiarity with Microsoft (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), GIS and CAD software;

  • Fluency in written and spoken Italian and English languages;

  • Good communication and team work skills.

Here’s what you’ll need :

The following will be considered a plus:

  • Direct experience related to environmental (phase I and phase II) and compliance due diligence;

  • Knowledge and application of sustainability principles;

  • Mindset open to innovation, digitalization, visual communication;

  • Team working strong attitude.

An employment contract is proposed.
