Your Impact:

Jacobs is seeking a professional and flexible All Source Intelligence Analyst Cyber Senior with Space and Counterspace Intelligence Experience to serve in a key role in the Intelligence Analysis Division of the United States Space Command Directorate of Intelligence. This employee will be at the Subject Matter Expert Level and will be required to produce strategic and operational high value actionable intelligence and warning products and assessments across multiple disciplines that meet Intelligence Community tradecraft standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Authors USSPACECOM J2 all-source finished intelligence products, in accordance with Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 203, 206 Analytic Tradecraft Standards, and the DIA Style Manual for Intelligence Production per the deliverables in the performance work statement.

  • Provides daily written, verbal, and visually represented all-source analytic support to the USSPACECOM Commander and customers across the Defense Intelligence Enterprise (DIE) on foreign space capabilities including, but not limited to, foreign adversary space doctrine, strategy, communications and collections, vulnerabilities, platforms, assembly and launch capabilities, weapons, dual-use systems and technologies, and emerging space technologies.

  • Provides finished, all-source intelligence products to senior-level military, and civilian personnel, to assess, analyze, develop, coordinate, and publish USSPACECOM Intelligence products on the infrastructure, systems, components, employment, and vulnerabilities of all foreign space and counterspace systems.

  • Identifies emerging threats and provides opportunities to counter adversaries within USSPACECOM's area of responsibility (AOR) for the Joint Intelligence Preparation of the Operational Environment (JIPOE).

  • Identifies, collects, fuses, and analyzes raw reporting across multiple-domain and multiple-intelligence disciplines within the Defense Intelligence Enterprise (DIE) to provide indications and warning (I&W), help define USSPACECOM targeting priorities and to protect and defend the U.S., allied, and partner nation military and commercial space capabilities.

  • Supports planning, developing, collecting, recommending, and maintaining Priority Intelligence Requirements (PIR) to support the Commander's decision-making process, the execution of the Commander's Critical Information Requirements (CCIRs), and refinement of the USSPACECOM counterspace warning process.

  • Adheres to the DIA Style Manual for Intelligence Production across all USSPACECOM finished, all-source, intelligence products, and requirements

  • Meets all qualifications and skills of a Mid, plus:

  • Demonstrates in-depth knowledge and understanding of the labor category activities required to meet mission requirements.

  • For analysts, demonstrates mastery of qualitative and quantitative analytic methodologies and pursues developments in academia or other fields that affect tradecraft methodology.

  • For analysts, demonstrates ability to define comprehensive, new, or unique research approaches that enable rigorous assessments to address and contribute to high-level tasks.

  • For analysts, demonstrates in-depth analysis of analytic operations and knowledge management issues across organizational and intra-IC boundaries and clearly articulates key findings.

  • Demonstrates ability to work independently and with minimal oversight.

  • For analysts, demonstrates ability to review analytic products for cogent arguments, tradecraft standards, and adequate support for conclusions; routinely tests analytic rigor of analytic products.

  • Minimum 10 years of experience related to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.

Typical salary range for this position is $120K to $130K and is commensurate with experience relative to the position.
