Our NORAD Operations Group

Selected by the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center’s Strategic Warning and Surveillance Systems Division for Operations, Maintenance, and Sustainment (OM&S) of critical mission systems for the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) Cheyenne Mountain Complex (NCMC), we support the Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (ITW/AA) and Space Support Contract II (NISSC II).

Since 2020, through the (ITW/AA) and Space Support Contract II (NISSC II), has provided:

· Operations, maintenance, and Sustainment of current and legacy systems for the surveillance and cataloging of manmade objects in space.

· Mitigation of orbital conflicts.

· Threat warnings and control from airborne, land-based, and space-based systems for threat activities.

· Operations and maintenance of classified communications.

· Software development and integration.

NISSC II supports the classified communications and processing for Command and Control (C2) capability and legacy space C2 systems located at:

· Cheyenne Mountain Space Force Station (CMSFS), Colorado

· Peterson Space Force Base (PSFB), Colorado

· Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska

· Vandenberg Space Force Base, California

· Numerous sensor and forward operator sites around the world

Description of Duties:

The Configuration Management Supervisor supports North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) on the Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (ITW/AA) and Space Support Contract II (NISSC II). The candidate will:

NISSC II is currently seeking a highly skilled and driven individual to fill the role of Configuration Management Lead. As a Configuration Management Lead, the expectation is that the applicant will maintain control over the NISSC Technical Baseline, ensuring its function and validity while maintaining its coherency during the reintegration of multiple development streams. This involves executing queries within the Engineering Lifecycle Management System, utilizing these captured metrics to clean up and progress data items through the system, integrating government-approved documentation to the Technical Baseline, verifying the Baseline Description Document is an accurate representation of the Technical Baseline, Managing workflows and dev streams as necessary to streamline NISSC II processes. The applicant will have to manage a multi-tiered baseline program where baselines are separated systematically and geographically. Applicant will also administer and support the scheduling of Working Groups and Control Boards associated with the artifacts affecting the Technical Baseline.

The successful candidate will:

· Ability to communicate verbally and written

· Keen attention for detail

· Ability to control and maintain multiple development environments in tandem

This position will be filled and work onsite in Colorado Springs, CO

Here’s what you’ll need :

Basic Requirements:

· Clearance Required: Secret

· 3 years of directly related experience

· Experience managing and maintaining data item workflows

· Experience operating and maintaining repositories

· Experience operating and maintaining database systems

· Experience operating within Microsoft Office Tool Suite

· Experience utilizing JIRA

Desired Requirements:

· Experience with Engineering Lifecycle Management System (ELMS)

· Skilled with Excel functions and formulas

· Skilled with version control

· Experience with Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) and Data Item Description (DID) Documents

This position is expected to pay $90,000 - $110,000 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
