Your Impact:

The government client requires all employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 for any/all positions that will require travel.

Full vaccination (against COVID-19) is defined as: an individual must be either two weeks past the last shot of a two-shot vaccination sequence, or two weeks past the only shot of a one-shot vaccination sequence.

Description of Duties:

The Identity & Access Management Solutions Architect supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will:

  • Assist the IdAM Delivery Team to develop and deliver comprehensive identity management strategies and solutions for our customers in line with the DoD Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) initiative to achieve a Zero Trust solution.

  • Work under some supervision from the IdAM Lead, but will be expected to work independently on complex, non-routine tasks and projects.

  • Interact with end users and other technical personnel to identify and correct issues.

  • Maintain continuous, open, consistent professional communication with customers, peers and team members.

  • Work on project teams consisting of both customers and other team members.

  • Work closely with team members on quality-related activities.

  • Lead and mentor junior team members through projects.

This is both an architectural and technical role, and requires understanding of business requirements coupled with deep technical knowledge of identity management products and systems design principles.

This position can be filled at Schriever SFB, Colorado Springs, CO or Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, AL

This position is expected to pay $127,500 - $142,500 annually; depending on location, experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

Basic Requirements:

Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience: HS Diploma (or GED) and 12 years of general experience; Associate's degree and 10 years of general experience; Bachelor's degree and 8 years of general experience; Master's degree and 6 years of general experience.

  • If this position requires travel selected candidate must be willing to provide proof of fully vaccinated (against COVID-19) status? (the process of which must be completed prior to the anticipated start date)

  • Must have 7 years of directly related experience in an Information Technology related discipline

  • Must have 5 years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IdAM)

  • Must have 3 years of management or leadership experience

  • Must be skilled with the DoD Public Key Infrastructure, Certificate Services, Microsoft directory services stack, including Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS), Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services (AD LDS), and Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS)

  • Must have the ability to successfully troubleshoot unfamiliar systems and software products by following logical and repeatable processes

  • Must have the ability to present complex technical topics to both executive and technical personnel, in written and verbal form

  • Must be familiar with IT security considerations and recommended practices

  • Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance

Desired Requirements:

  • Have experience with Identity and Access Management solutions such as Ping Identity, SailPoint, Beyond Trust, Dilenea, CyberArk, etc.
