Your Impact:

Jacobs is seeking a Network and Server Hardware Integrator to support the newly awarded NISSC II contract. Your career at Jacobs enables NISSC to fulfill its mission to “provide classified communications and processing for Command and Control (C2) capability in organizational work centers at NISSC sites.” As a member of our team, you will support corporate and customer mission to provide world-class IT services and support that connects systems and users across NORAD in the areas of software development/maintenance, network services, cyber security, systems administration, and other mission-critical areas.

Minimum/General Experience:

7 years of experience related to a specific engineering or computer science discipline such as: communications, network, cybersecurity, or software engineering in support of telecommunication systems and networks or software development. Extensive experience in the development, integration, and implementation of enterprise-wide network and information assurance/cybersecurity technologies. Experienced in Agile development and product integration. Technical expertise in system, database and network administration; cybersecurity sensors, tools, and implementations; and systems analysis. Exposure to cybersecurity concepts such as advanced persistent threats; threat tactics, techniques, procedures, and vectors; identification, detection, defense, and response techniques and options; network sensors, monitoring, and reporting; related defensive cybersecurity tools, capabilities, and options. Software developers must have experience in the development of server and client applications, including data interfaces and security tools.

Functional Responsibility:

Apply technical acumen in solving complex hardware/software engineering and network security/cybersecurity design problems. Provide technical leadership of all phases of hardware/software/cybersecurity design analysis, development, integration, and implementation. Lead or participate on teams of developers and integrators to design, code, and test commercial information assurance/cybersecurity applications and software following operational requirements, established quality standards, and production schedules. Analyze and model data and business processes, with network security as a prime consideration. Designs and architect’s enterprise-wide secure automated systems by leveraging existing tools and technologies, or by identifying and validating requirements and initiating/leading developmental efforts. Develop and test code to combine various information assurance/cybersecurity technologies into single or integrated solutions. Document the design, code, and testing of applications, technologies, and cybersecurity tools/capabilities.

BS or higher preferred. With no degree, 10 years of relevant exp.
