Your Impact:

Description of Duties:

The Remedy Software Developer supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will:

  • Maintain Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) Remedy Application operations and maintenance.

  • Maintain Remedy Change/Release management, Problem management and Task management.

  • Maintain Atrium CMDB development and enhancement.

  • Maintain Administration and maintenance of a custom add-on to the asset administration system with a focus on procurement administration.

  • Plan, test and implement major system upgrades.

  • Focus on future growth and development needs.

  • Perform local customizations and system enhancements necessary to meet business needs.

  • Provide guidance on system high-availability solutions and ensure system availability needs are met.

  • Administer application data daily, process queries and reports as requested by users.

  • Interface with other team members to ensure cross-platform module compatibility and standardization.

  • Maintain a high working knowledge of all aspects of the Remedy systems, integrations and modules to provide backup for other team members.

Occasional after hours support may be necessary.

This position can be filled at Schriever AFB, Colorado Springs, CO or Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, AL.

This position is expected to pay $80,400 - $168,975 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.

This position will be posted for a minimum of 3 days. If a candidate has not been selected at that time, it will continue to be posted until a suitable candidate is selected or the position is closed.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

Basic Requirements:

Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience: HS Diploma (or GED) and 12 years of general experience; Associate's degree and 10 years of general experience; Bachelor's degree and 8 years of general experience; Master's degree and 6 years of general experience.

  • Must have 7 years of directly related experience

  • Must have 1 year of experience working in a management or leadership role

  • Must have 4 years of directly related experience with Remedy development, change management, testing and deployment of IT processes into Remedy, or similar experience

  • Must have, or obtain within 60 days, a current DoD 8570 Level II Certification such as CompTIA Security+ CE or higher

  • Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance

Desired Requirements:

  • Adept at creating and managing user documentation and providing one-on-one user assistance as necessary

  • Have experience with BMC Remedy Incident management tools and processes

  • Have experience with BMC Remedy Work Order management tools and processes

  • Have experience integrating BMC Remedy with external non-Remedy systems

  • Be familiar with MDA programs
