The government client requires all employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, or if not fully vaccinated to have an approved accommodation based on valid medical or religious reasons.

1. Full vaccination against COVID-19 will be required for any/all positions that will require travel.

2. For any/all positions that DO NOT require travel, full vaccination against COVID-19 will be required. Medical and Religious accommodations will be considered on a case-by-case basis, but may be precluded by mission requirements.

Full vaccination (against COVID-19) is defined as: an individual must be either two weeks past the last shot of a two-shot vaccination sequence, or two weeks past the only shot of a one-shot vaccination sequence. Description of Duties:

The Systems Administrator supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will:

  • Provide systems administration for the Planet IRM Cable Management Software, Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) software utilizing Nlyte software and BMC Remedy Application.

  • This will consist of Operating System and Application maintenance, access management, patching, STIG compliance and other general administration functions.

  • Perform daily system monitoring and verify integrity and availability of all services and related hardware and software.

  • Be responsible for Service Recovery Planning and operations, change management documentation.

  • Work closely with Data Center Managers, Configuration Management Analyst and various Service Delivery Teams.

Occasional after hours support may be necessary.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have proven experience working with the TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and IP addressing schemes.

  • Have proven knowledge of implementing defined security measures.

  • Have intermediate level knowledge, experience and skills administering Windows Server 2016.

  • Have general knowledge of systems administration and virtualization technology principles and practices.

  • Have an excellent commitment to a team environment

  • Have a willingness to learn new technologies

  • Quickly adapt to new situations

This position will be filled at Schriever AFB, Colorado Springs, CO or Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, AL

This position is expected to pay $55,800 - $96,000 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.

Basic Requirements:

Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience: HS Diploma (or GED) and 1 years of general experience; Associate's degree, or higher, and 0 years of general experience

  • Must have 2 years of experience in an engineering field

  • Must have, or obtain within 60 days, a current DoD 8570 Level II Certification such as CompTIA Security+ CE or higher

  • Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance

Desired Requirements:

  • Be familiar with Cloud computing (AZURE or AWS)

  • Be familiar with Windows Internet Information Services (IIS)

  • Have experience establishing, maintaining and following documented processes and procedures
