Jacobs is seeking a Business Process Engineer in Ft. Meade, MD. Duties will include:
Applying process improvement and engineering methodologies and principles to conduct process modernization projects
Working closely with their Government clients on projects designed to modernize existing processes and engineering methodologies. You will also be responsible for supporting the client in transitioning different project teams to meet mission objectives.
Performing activity and data modeling, developing modern business methods, identifying best practices, and creating and assessing performance measurements
Providing group facilitation, interviewing, training, and additional forms of knowledge transfer
Serving as key coordinator between multiple project teams to ensure enterprise wide integration of re-engineering efforts
Here’s What You’ll Need:
Associates degree in computer science and seven (7) years of relevant progressive experience required. Progressive relevant training and/or certification may be substituted for a portion of the experience requirement.
Ten (10) years of process engineering experience. A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or IT Engineering may be substituted for four (4) years of experience
Experience applying business process engineering principles.
Active TS/SCI with current polygraph
- Most work will be done at a desk or computer.
General Office environment.
The work environment is fast-paced and sometimes involves extreme deadline pressures.
The nature of the work requires a high degree of teamwork and cooperation with other members of the staff as well as individuals across the Company and Customers.
Equipment & Machines:
- General office equipment including PC/laptop, Fax, Copiers, Shredder, Printers, Telephone, and other miscellaneous office equipment.
Attendance is critical at all times. Must be able to work a 40-hour workweek, normally Monday through Friday. However, times and days may vary depending on business requirements.
Needs to be available to work overtime during critical peaks and be available to meet last minute requests for overtime should the situation occur.
