Jacobs is seeking a Deputy Program Manager to support a prime contract in our Columbia, MD office. Responsibilities may include:

  • Provide engineering analysis and evaluation, and input into Security Administration for infrastructure systems

  • Lead enterprise solution team of contractors and subcontractors

  • Provide support to customer organization to track program deliverables such as Program Status Reports, Financial reports, contract forecasting, review and validate financials to include invoicing

  • Attend customer priorities, scheduling and tasking meetings, create and update project schedules

  • Work directly with COR and manage customer relationship

  • Other duties as assigned related to Program and Project management of staff and cyber security solutions




Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science, Information Technology, related field or equivalent experience and eight (8) to twelve (12) years of directly related experience or any equivalent combination of education, experience, training and certification. Demonstrated competence in project management and technical competence in discipline field(s) and knowledge of company policies and practices

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in software engineering development, software testing, and software documentation

  • Experience leading an enterprise solution

  • Experience leading contract and subcontractor teams

  • Experience managing contract and program life-cycle activities

  • Experience with project management duties to include: gathering requirements, task identification, developing and managing project schedules, delegating tasks, tracking deliverables and milestones

  • Active TS/SCI with current polygraph

Additional Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of providing financial analysis and validation of contract funding

  • Expert experience with Microsoft Excel, Project and PowerPoint

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
